This is a copy and paste of a thread I found via Google. I would have posted there but it was in the support section so for some reason users can't post and the only post was a mod asking for a log. The OP never replied (obviously because a log has absolutely zero to do with what he was asking and likely a way for the mods to get out of replying or reading his post).
Either way I'm trying to discern what the in game setting should be at for best performance. The highest my ms has ever been is 28. Usually in BRF with a full raid. Usually closer to 24. Anyhow, any advice or suggestions would be great. The answers I've found via Google vary dramatically and are likely under the assumption one is not running a rotation bot.
I have it enabled and set at my current ms but I'm not sure if that's correct, much less with a bot.
Here is the post.

Default custom lag tolerance
hello i found out that honorbuddy doesnt take into consideration the latency u have... there is an option in wow called "custom lag tolerance" under combat options that allows us to be able to skip the loss of time we would have waiting for the full gcd to come back (like honorbuddy does)... this results in a BIG loss of active time (50-100ms per GCD is a LOT if u sum them together in a 1 minute fight)!!!! i remember when i used to play in cataclysm we had honorbuddy casting spells way before the GCD had finished (for example 300/400ms before the spell could actually be casted) therefore not wasting any time and resulting in a perfect rotation.... is there any way we could get back to that somehow? is there anything i can add in the CCs to make it work like that?
