Current State of Ops?

I resubbed yesterday after a long hiatus, with my last playtime being after explosive conflict was released. I focus on running operations and would like to ask how has the scene has changed - gearing up, difficulty, the playerbase, what classes are in demand and other insights for returning players?

Healers, always in demand. Basically, else depends on servers. Hard to compare to other mmos. Some things are harder because of engine and lack of add0ns etcetera. Typically most engages in themselves are not too innovative and don't contain too many elements. Outside storymode this is. Comparing Storymode to LFR in wow is interesting because storymode is in some cases too hard for pugs.

well ops are easy on normal mode even lvl 60 ops are easy now for pug
yday i did first 4 bosses on DF heroic we hit enrage on 2 and 3 boss so on dps side need good dps i am playing guardian vigilance full new set 216/220 gear dps i push max 5.6k dps on dummy and 5.1 5.2k on some bosses and is second lowest dps class atm there is was stealth nerfs my sage is lvl 60 ziost gear with bolster on dummy i do steady 5.7k dps healing and tank side i have no idea

I think you can run the planet dailies and the new story missions and gear up to 220 gear pretty much solo
