Current state of farming gold?

Hey guys, fairly new player here looking to bot.

About a year ago I used to farm botanica for about 700-1k per hour but ended up quitting since WoD just wasn't all that fun for me (in the midst of the huge May banwave). I was wondering what the current state of farming gold is right now? I'm not seeing any profiles specifically made for farming gold (paid or otherwise).

On another note, how is bot questing right now? I imagine less risky than farming instances.

I'm not looking to be a gold-seller, I just want to make enough gold to maybe even pay the monthly sub via WoW-Token, nothing too extravagant. 100k per month would be great :)
 
Right now, new content prices are inflated, and the old gold farm profiles aren't really worth the time in comparison. There's one min/herb profile out atm, and you can also run one of the skinning profiles. Assuming you have some stars in the leather skill, you can easily make 20-30k in one evening.

Oh shit. I just got to max leatherworking. Um, what're these star things?
 
I'm still running 5 HoL bots. Generating me ~85k per evening, on autopilot. I've sold 1.6 million gold since Legion launch, and I currently got 700k spread out on my main account.

So they're still worth it. I personally wouldn't bot dungeons on my main though.

I'm looking to actually get back into the RAF dungeon bots. When I did it a few months ago, they lasted about a month before being banned. They were depositing all the gold into a guild bank, but that guild was shut down when they were banned.

Any tips on how to prevent that in the future?

Also any tips on how to quickly set up the bots to level?
 
That herbing/skinning profile you are talking about.. Is that the suramar one?

Yes. You typically get the first one the first time you gather, the second after a couple dozen gathers, and the third take a while to drop.

Yes, it works pretty well. Probably not something you want to run overnight tho, as its a short route.

Is that the only dungeon you run? Any others recommended?

Unfortunately, when you get your manual investigation (and you'd better believe you soon will, if your numbers of sold gold are real) you main account not botting won't save it from being banned.
 
Hi everyone,
I've made a Gold Farming profile far more efficient than everything you can find atm ( imo ). It's raw gold and numbers are close to 5k gph on a fresh lvl 110 char.
PM for more information.
PS: also have made a lvl 100 version, close to 2k gph

Skinning got nerfed yesterday. used to get 7-9 leather per kill. now I get 2.
The price of the leather has more than doubled, but I'm thinking that wont last too long.
 
i made about 1.3 million within 1 week just selling leather, the skin nerv sucks hard....
