Current Development Update

Hello,

I love the Current Development thread - I like that you keep us updated roughly on what's in the works and what you give priority.

It's been some time since the last update, and obviously the end of april release never came to be. Could you please consider updating that thread with new release estimates?

Well I happen to work in software development, and "due time" for updating release estimates would normally be way long before the current estimated date is met ;-)

Frequently updated and current estimates tell people that you are in control, you know your limits, your resources and work load, and are able to plan ahead based on that.

On the other hand, estimates that are not met and with no updates may easily give the image that you are not in control - you do not know what resources you have, how to best use them, how big the worload is or what's gonna get released when. Customers are never happy with that, and my boss would publicly slaughter me should it happen.

If estimates are just too hard, you could perhaps keep the prioritized list, but just sort it under "release 4, release 5, release 6" etc. but without dates, then tick off items from the list as soon as they are implemented to show progress.
