Curious as to how the bot works - Does is simulate key presses?

I've never used a bot that doesn't use keypresses. To me that's part of the "safety" of the bot. The only way you get caught is if you leave it unattended, someone you know pokes you and you don't respond back.

I'm not noticing the keys light up when using Rebornbuddy.

So I'm curious, if RebornBuddy doesn't simulate key presses what does it do?

And how traceable is it? I'm only going to be using it for fishing, where I can stand still while having it run in the background. I can keep an eye on my log while watching some netflix or something.
