Hello everyone!

What are the criteria of selecting nice server for botting? What criteria do you follow?
Should I select the high or the low populated server? PVE or PVP server? The dominating faction or the dominated?

Any advice is highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Well obviously (maybe not to all), a higher population server will have a MUCH higher chance of being able to make a decent amount of gold. Obvious reasons being:
1.) More people = healthier economy (demand will be higher for stuff you are trying to sell)
2.) More people = more people buying gold

As for PVP vs. PVE servers, it is solely up to you (being PVP or PVE doesn't really affect the economy of the server in my experiences).

As for safety issues:
Botting on a low pop server, you will have hardly any chances to be reported/banned, but you won't have hardly anyone to buy your stuff.
Botting on a high pop server GREATLY increases your chances of being reported/banned, but at the same time, there will be a MUCH larger demand for stuff you are selling.

So in the end, maybe finding a server that balances these attributes out somewhat will help you determine the "ideal" server to start botting on.

Hopefully this helps you out in making your decision. :)

Thank you for reply, solo1420.
It helped me to consolidate some of my guessworks.

Am I right? More people = more bots, more bots = less profit&more risk?
As you can see here - EU (RU) WoW Realms :: WoWProgress - World of Warcraft Rankings and History we have very disbalanced high populated servers. There is a hard bot fight. I don't really think entering this battle is a good idea.
I think I'll try the #5~10th one.

I remember myself playing on the #3 server. I was questing in Uldum and at one moment, 3 bots landed at a herb, one of them looted, then all of them disappeared in a moment. That was a bit funny. :)
