Creating your own BG Buddy profile.

There's a lot of talk about fire and brimstone regarding the amount of banned bots in battlegrounds recently, and with the new pvp season coming up, included is a massive honor gear grind.

I've been looking through the forums to see if I can find a guide to writing your own BG buddy path, as to not stack up on top of numerous other bots but I can't seem to find anything that refers to the BG buddy specifically. I found a guide for questing profiles but it seems to include a lot of information on how to interact with NPC's.

Is there a simpler way to record profiles for BG buddy for the non-coder type?

But, Fighterlastme is absolutely spot on... most of the battleground logic is hard-coded into the BGbot. And you are ultimately at the mercy of its capabilities. The Buddy developers are working on a replacement BGbot (and this seems to be a perpetual task. ) Alas, the replacement is not yet here, and I can't say how much of an improvement it will be over the existing bot. I do know they are worried about 'little details' like "which direction the toon is facing" in certain areas, and the issue of bots stacking up or being otherwise "mainpulated" on entry into battlegrounds.

We'll just have to wait and see when the new one arrives.
