Creating a GB Path

Hey all!

I tried to create a simple circle path in storm peaks around K3

First I tired using an existing path and cutting out the old waypoints and using the GB program locate location button to create a set of waypoints around my path and then saving it as a different name. Uploaded the path and when I tried to run it I recieved an Error: loadpath2b: input string was not in a correct format. I am using notepad++ to edit the xml file. could that be the problem although the format looks correct when I open it.

Second I tried to use the GB internal record path process: I hit record path and start around my circle and then it end path once the circle is complete. I cannot find a file anywhere that I named (storm test) in the GB folder?

Ok got a hold of patroledit v5.4 made a path saved it as the correct xml loaded it up hit start everything looks good GB goes into circle mode and then nothing. I am really trying to learn this please help...point in right direction...something please I know there are alot of people on here that can do this in thier sleep, I am sure Im just a few firing synapses away from making GB profiles.

I have searched the forums all day literally and have found several tidbits of info on profile making for GB I keep finding people linking to this post that doesnt exist : http://www.buddyforum.de/showthread.php?1725-HowTo-Create-a-Profile

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

to create a Gb profile is very simple
1)set recording ms between 2700 and 3000
2)give a name to the path
3)press start recording
4)press stop recording when done
5)press refresh path list

and you are ready
