Crash On Startup

if there is no log file attach the error window here
and also on what OS are you?

That's the error I see when I double click HB. I checked my Event Viewer,but there appears to be no Window Log. Do you mind telling me how to check for the windows log?

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit.
 
are you running Hb as admin?
right click on Hb exe and the run as admin

wretchedevil your case is like mine =/ i'm having same problem and tried to reinstall .net framework but still no use. I kept reading about this here but didnt get a solution for my problem so far =( can u plz help me tony?
 
same problem for my friend he re installed net framwork reinstall hb fully downloaded wow and run as admin.. win 7
 
post you log guys and a screenshot of the error

and in any case be sure that your wow is running on dx9
 
No log gets generated for this exception;moreover, the screenshot which wretchedevil posted is having the same error i'm facing =/, and wow is running on dx9 not dx11.

the error shows up when i try to run honorbuddy.exe (with admin mode or without), and no log file gets created. =/ help plz

Thanks tony, I've installed windows 7 on another partition and HB is working now !

It seems that this problem happened because I have installed Visual Studio 2005 & 2010 and the .net framework got messed up after few windows update for the VS 2010 .net framework patches. Just incase someone faced this problem :)
