CR developers responsibilities?

If you are a CR developer and sell your wares on the buddy store you should support your CR regardless of issues like:
  • Ban waves
  • Developer being Banned
  • Gets tired/bored/annoyed *insert excuse here*

The "Buddy Store" is a business, by selling there you inherit the responsibility of proprietorship.
This creates an expectation for YOUR customers that your CR's will be supported in a way that is consistent with Honorbuddy's support.

Some of the responses for CR support have been very disheartening.

I hope CR developers and other developers understand that as customers, we have put our trust and money in you and your services.

I understand that there is "No Honor among theives"

Yes. Here is a snip
My comments are based on people saying things like
We will decide what we will do in the next weeks.
This CR is not dead but the ban wave had a huge impact and currently the user base and need for a specialized raid routine is low.

This has implications, and is basically saying they are not currently supporting their CR.

I no longer wish to support one of my products. What do I do?

Bossland GmbH expects each Developer to support the product for which they were paid. Developers should not be able to "get paid and vanish". To address product End-of-Life (EOL), the Buddy Store offers the capability of 'freezing' a product from sales. Bossland GmbH expects developers to continue to provide support for previous buyers, until the contractual obligations of EOL are met.
At the time of this writing, the EOL support period is for 18 months, or the next game product expansion (e.g., WoD)—whichever comes first.[6]
Only 'paid' products in the Buddy Store require a formal support period for EOL. 'Free' products are not bound to a similar support period.

To extend phelons answer:which does not mean that the products (in general) won't be supported anymore. Support does.not.mean to.add new.features...Support means bug fixing and keep it working...
And my personal opinion: most.devs.will do so,keep their products working (well.i can only speak for 5 com devs so far, which will do so)

Sorry for wrong usage of dots....my father fingers don't hit the space all the time on my phone ;)
