Couple of errors going on here

After the patch today tried to run HB. First error set was that it couldn't connect to the authentication server and it couldn't detect an active instance of wow to attach to. I'm stubborn so kept trying various things. Downloaded a windows system update, ran wow and hb as administrator, among other things. Got to the point it would connect but it crashed itself. Submitted the error reports when it crashed itself.

The main thing that stands out in here is that in the logs, when it would crash itself, it said it was crashing because it couldn't begin an instance of ShamWOW. I haven't loaded shamwow, don't use shamwow, don't even have it downloaded and installed on this machine. Only stuff I have for hb on this machine is the hordeproject 1-80 profiles. Don't even have any custom cc's on this machine. No reason it should be trying to use shamwow... oh, btw, this was all on a warrior.

I've attached a couple of logs that show the diff errors.

The developers need to update the offsets for the new patch. Be patient, and about your auth problem, did you PM bossland about your problem?

Wasn't blindly posting.

When someone else reports a bug under another person's thread they get told to create their own and post logs. I did so. Only reason I posted the thread to begin with, instead of just waiting for the resolutions in others' threads, is because what I was seeing was diff from what other ppl were posting about. Yes, had the same 'doesn't recognize the instance of wow' but also had the connection issue and the shamwow issue. this thread was created to address those primarily. The devs want ppl's feedback and logs on unique bugs so they can address them and get the problems fixed for everyone. I just posted the issues I had because no one else was reporting those same issues.

So Kickazz, feel free to explain how this is a 'stupid thread' when I'm simply trying to help out the dev team and following forum rules.
