I just purchase pokefarmer and just created this google account and logged into the account via my phone to get past the setup part.

When I try to start pokefarmer I get the error "Could not connect to game servers. Please try again later."

This is my first time, so I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. The account works fine through my phone.

Location wise did you select the location you were last at?

Also are you on any VPN or proxy?

I am on a VPS (Windows Server 2012) from ChicagoVPS.net. I disabled the Firewall for a few minutes to make sure that didn't cause the issue. I haven't setup any VPN or Proxy. I am not sure on the altitude, but I did put the same location in that I was at when I log in through the phone.

This works fine from windows 10 I just can't get it to work from the server.

Sounds like the server IP is blocked possibly.

I had the server tunnel through a VPN and the issue persists, so I don't think it is a blocked IP added. Additionally, I would think it would not be able to login if they blocked the IP address. I wish I could get a detailed log from this program. Any debugging logs available, or is the could not connect error the best I can get?

true, however I have used blocked VPN ips and such, and it would just auto log, then fail to connect over and over and over again, the initial login is done to our servers and then pushed to niantic side. as for debugging, the best I can offer is your very own logs. Thats why I hinted that maybe your VPN IP is nailed, since it works fine on the machine otherwise.
