Convince me to buy Demonbuddy.

I'm not entirely convinced, even though I've been using Honorbuddy for a long time and never got caught.
It's two different games however and all the whine in these forums didn't really help me decide.
I know no one got banned by using Demonbuddy, but I don't buy that as it was released about at the same time the banwaves happened. So it could be as safe as other bots, safer or maybe even less safe. And while I'm at it, lemme throw in a conspiracy theory that Demonbuddy team got a deal with Blizzard to ban other bot users and get them scared to make them switch to Demonbuddy :)

I have personally experienced Hellbuddy and botted the crap out of the game with it. A lot of people got banned (including a friend of mine) but I was spared, even though I botted more than she did. Immortalbot I heard got less bans while it also have better botting method (it's faster).

Honestly, I'd rather have a bot that gives me 100k less per hour but keeps my account (somewhat) safe, instead of the one that farms 10 times faster but with a huge chance that I will get caught and banned. I don't feel like losing my CE.
 
Botting method in Demonbuddy is slow because its pathings server side from what ive seen, however their anti warden detection is better. has less traceable hooks into the Diablo .exe - I tested the bot so far it gets stuck alot, but i say in a few weeks it might be good maybe. But i dont think it will be as fast as the other bots since they are client side movement not server.
 
If you are looking for safety, go get it right now, its for you. If you are looking to make a quick buck and don't care about your account, wait a few weeks until its all worked out or try something else.
 
I was convinced just reading the forum and the feedback of the user.. try spending sometime reading the feedback..

My advice. Don't bot using your CE. If you can afford a CE, you can afford a SE for botting to meet your CE needs. You can sell those items that you don't required.

Imho, demonbuddy isn't polish and awesome at this point of time, but it has 30% discount. It will or might be awesome in weeks to come. I think you can just buy the bot, when it at discount rate and risk waiting for it to be awesome. I feel it might take a while, since the developer has too many bots to handle.
 
Demonbuddy... has problems.

The navigational problems (being pauses waiting for the server to send back a path) are being looked at literally right now.

The crashes have, for 99% of users, been fixed with the latest Revision (being .100).

It still takes a little time to get used to the bot, as it's not as "user friendly" as Honorbuddy. Then again, if you're not used to botting then Honorbuddy isn't very user friendly anyways :P



But, if you are looking for the LEAST likely chance that your account gets caught botting because there is some program accessing Diablo's memory then Demonbuddy is your best bet.
If you didn't know, Honorbuddy was the ONLY bot to be spared when Blizzard decided to ***** down, and ban Bot Users. They resorted to filing lawsuits against the 2-3 bots remaining, and Honorbuddy is the ONLY one left standing today that was available prior.

The only Banwave that I know of, that Honorbuddy/Gatherbuddy were a part of was actually an accident on Blizzard's side. They were looking for a script that another bot was running, and happened upon one that Gatherbuddy (a very old, very simple gathering bot) was using.


So again, Safety = Buddy Products.
In time, the speed/efficiency will increase :)
 
So I bought the bot, had some issues though (doesn't support Win8 so I had to reinstall Win7, Hellbuddy got the same problem). But it's definitely worth the money.
I don't see any difference in pathing (it's actually better!) compared to other bots. I started today, so maybe I missed the bad previous versions.
Hands down it's the best bot out there, and the one I trust most.

It got 50000x better today. Link (my setup) in my sig is a short walkthrough of what you need to afk farm Core of Arreat for a barb. If not it will get you everything accept your class specific stuff.

I also botted for awhile using Hellbuddy and survived the ban wave, which makes me think that it's some sort of server sided detection that got people banned. Otherwise, wouldn't everyone who used Hellbuddy have been flagged by Warden and banned?

I would guess that HB and DB are just as Warden proof, and that you just have to bot less obviously to avoid flagging. But I guess we'll find out next ban wave.

I got it today and I'm not disappointed at all. Does it need some work? Yup. Is it as atrocious as some make it out to be? Not even close.

The reality is the team has a reputation, a stellar one at that. I'm more than willing to pay for and gamble on that. Not to mention the 33% discount doesn't hurt at all.

Needless to say I've now had it almost 24 hours. If I had to make the choice again I would. My opinion may change one way or the other with this next banwave, though we shall see. I did bot with Hellbuddy for almost two weeks though, and survived the first banwave (botting very heavily). Hopefully that did not doom me. If I get hit in the next wave I certainly wont blame DB for it..
 
Why Demonbuddy.... well.. because!

1 week of hardcore Dev and I feel safe enough to leave these unattended. Two DH leveling and a barb farming, gotta love it.

Compared to VS it's much less gold per hour but the buddy team knows warden well and I trust them more than I trust VS.

First of all... DONT RISK A CE ACCOUNT !!!

The bot could be nice in a few months, but has so many problems right now... always having to tweak this or that, using this plugin or not, this setup or that one... damn wow glider was hella simple and didnt give me so many headaches like this one, i have only had this for 24 hours and im still angry. I have to babysit the bot and thats a huge flaw
 
please do not convince this guy to get DB
let him read the forums ionstead of being lazy
plus every botter we getthe more the prices inflate
so id rather have him not buying DB
