Hi, im considering opening a 2nd account to grind gold to my guild.

i want to make 100% sure that there is absolutely no chance my main acc or guildies gets banned.

Will i have to use vpn? or can i do it without, since i dont want anything to link with the main acc i play on.

How would i transfer golds to the guild without getting banned and such.

thanks.

There's always a risk but you should be safe. Accounts that get banned are usually the ones doing the botting, but again, there's always a risk, just do what you can to minimize it.

Just deposit the gold in the gb on a regular basis.

i dont care, if my botter gets banned. i just want to make sure theres 0% chance that my main will get banned? it must be possible to unlink him from my main? i could use a vpn i guess?

Like the above stated, there is always a risk.

No one here can tell you for sure what they will do to any of your accounts, especially not knowing exactly what your intentions will be. If you are going to bot extensively on an account and farm 16-18 or more hours, sure your risk is pretty high of that account getting banned. If you do end up making gold and continously send it to your guild, sure there is a risk there too.

Do not open the account under the same battlenet account as your main and I would suggest using a different name to open the account than the name on your main. However, I also suggest that you use a name that you can get hold of an ID for, just in case your bot does get caught and they throw the "proof of Identity" request at you when you are trying to get your account back. The same last name on both accounts is fine though (if you use sister/brother/mother/father?s name) and it is also a benefit if you decide to level a few toons on your bot and want to transfer them to you main at a later date you have the option. For this only the last name needs to be the same.

When running your bot, try to avoid sending mats/gold via mail or open trade between your bot and your main account toons or even between your bot and guild members. Just put your bot in your guild and have him deposit all the gold and/or mats they make into the guild bank directly. If anything gets banned it will be your bot toon and not your main account or your guild. Be smart though, avoid putting a lot of gold in the GB one minute and then taking it back out the next as that looks like gold buying/selling.

This is of course if you plan on telling your guildies that you will be botting a toon for mats/gold for the guild. If you go this route, whatever you do, do not tell them in chat or discuss it in the game. Use vent or something like that as all chats between players are in a log somewhere and can be reviewed. Once someone knows you are botting more people will find out, and more, and more...well you get the picture. This is my opinion. Some folks are open botters in their guilds and the guildies know how to keep quiet about it knowing there is a benefit to it all.

Don?t want your bot toon in the guild? Make a second guild of your own on one of your spare toons with that toon as the GM. Put your bot in the guild. Allow the bot to put mats and gold in this banking guild and then take out the gold on your GM toon whenever you like. Again, avoid putting 50k in the bank on your bot and then taking it right back out on your GM toon the next minute. Once the gold is on your GM toon, you can mail this gold to your main toon to be placed in the guild bank without any concern as gold sent between toons on the same account really doesn't send up any red flags. The only real link between your main account here and your botting account is the guild bank you are using and a link via guild will not get you banned.

Also, when selling your farmed mats in the AH, keep the number of auctions you do to a sane level. I would suggest making several level 1 toons on your bot account, also placing them in the banking guild and use them to sell your mats, limiting the number of auctions you do on each toon. You just don?t want anyone reporting to blizz that you have 100 stacks of ore for sale in the AH ad them doing an account review. May get you a suspension or a ban for abuse of the economy at minimum and flag your bot account.

Also, as has been said before, keep your botting time to a sane level. Yea some folks say "I bot 24/7 and never a ban" but my experience has been keep it at 6 to 8 hours at a stretch, enough time for the bot to fill all your bags and then take a break for an equal amount of time. Move around to different zones and run the occasional dungeon/quest/daily, etc.

Good luck and have fun!
