Connect to US and EU realms at the same time?

Is this just a matter of creating a 2nd WoW folder and swapping the server info to point to EU realms?

Is it a hassle updating when patches come out?

Should be as simple as you stated. I've never tried it, but it should work.

it is verry easy and you don't need to worry about patching, because the game will update the folder what you have opened.
but do you really want to bot on US server?
you will get bannend much faster and and your MS! 300+ if you are lucky!
