Concern: Capture speed

Hi,

I'm new to Pokefarmer... but have a level 25 toon I got that far by myself (not easy lol), so I am very familiar with the game mechanics.

That said, the bot captures pokemon so much faster than I could do it myself, I assume because most of what happens on the client is UI "spam" (e.g. not client/server related). Even with knowing that, it seems that the speed at which captures happen can surely be logged, and the speeds are happening so fast that no real client could be performing them.

Is this an issue or am I missing something? I just do not want to get my accounts banned :)

if they add such a feature to slow down catching speed it MUST be optional .
they can not force such things onto us paying players its not cool.
i would never opt in to having my catching speeds nerfed . thats not ok to be forced onto us .
also the capture speed is legit if your phones fast enough phone like a galaxy s7 for example .

I do have a Galaxy S7.

Apparently I did not make myself clear. When you capture a pokemon, there is an animation that takes a few seconds before you can then clear the "caught" dialogs (2 of them) to resume hunting. Watching the animation and then closing those 2 dialogs takes several seconds no matter how fast you are, or how fast the phone is (tho I admit the time is lower on faster phones, surely), but in any case the bot is doing it MUCH faster. At least twice as fast as I could do it by hand with my S7, perhaps 3x as fast. That sort of metric has got to be trackable. That's what I'm concerned about.

I would be okay with this, the main goal is to be as "human" as possible. Great idea man.
I would also take in consideration to sumfool's idea. Allow it to be optional.

ohhh ok now i get ya .
are you sure the bot does not already take into account the animation times?

Dat pathetic greed, lmao. You'd actually risk getting banned for 2s worth of extra farming?

The idea is great and I totally support it.

From when the bot says trying to catch until it says caught (assuming successful capture on first attempt) it is less than 1 second (according to the log). So the bot doesn't seem to be taking animation times into account. Unless what it is doing in the background is different to what the log says.

would not have taken a legit lvl 25 account and botted w/ it. would have started a new account. now you could potentially lose your lvl 25.

Duh. Of course I didn't bot with my real account. Nowhere did I say I was. Why derail the subject?

Its not just the catch timing I am concerned with, but the timing of other actions following the catch attempt - or a re-try attempt. It takes less than 3 seconds to try, fail and try again then succeed. No way thats possible with a real phone.
