Computer GB Limit Estimate

Heya guys, iv been considering purchasing a new computer or two to run some more GBs at once as my laptop can barely handle two at once

So the specs would probably be:
- Intel Core i5 661 (3.33ghz/4MB/Dual Core with Hyperthreading, Inbuilt Graphics 900mhz)
- Gigabyte GA-H55-UD3H Intel H55 Chipset, DDR3 2200+, PCI-Ex16, SATAII, GB LAN, 8CH Audio, ATX
- Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB), PC-10600 (1333MHz) DDR3, Dual Channel Kit
- Onboard Intel CPU (900mhz GfX Core)
Plus the other external stuff and probably windows 7

So How many Wow+GBs do you think it will be able to handle at max while still being stable? Obviously I would run them on low graphics settings and limited/no addons

more then 7+ since my spec's are half of them and can handle 5 but i had to build in external fans. plus you will need to buy a new GFX card since onboard cards suck.

Firstly, the i5 is a waste of money imo. I just built a new comp with these specs (below) for about 1300 and I run 12 no sweat (overclocked):

AMD phenom II x4 965 Black Edition
Sapphire 5850 Crossfired
Asus P6T Delux
8 GB OCZ Black Ram
1100 watt PSU
Custom built liquid cooling for both GPU's, CPU, and RAM

CPU overclocked to 4.2 GHz and working on the GPU / RAM OC'ing

Not sure how much your setup is costing ya...but if you MUST go intel, go i7 920. Especially if you are trying to run 9+ accounts. Personally, Im a big fan of the AMD because the bang for the buck ratio is way over intel...especially after some easy overclocking.

Your cooling is paramount to any stats you can get.

If you're building your own, go with a Thermaltake. I am confident that 4 external fans should be fine. If you're really going to be pushing or overlocking, you may need liquid cooling, but it can be a pain.

Definitely ensure your cooling is fine and your computer is in a spot that will be well-ventilated and relatively dust-free.

Im a big fan of the AMD because the bang for the buck ratio is way over intel...especially after some easy overclocking.

I would advise people to pay that little extra and get far better performance than compared to the AMD chips. If you shop around you will find some nice prices on the 920's!

The build i mentioned is around $900 AUD which is around $840 USD i beleive, it's also the Hornet Gold Build from http://www.scorptec.com.au/systems/all/ I would appreciate if someone could recommend another system from this same site (preferably as cheap as possible) that would let me run 5+ GBs and offer good bang for my buck

I would also appreciate any sites with pre-built systems (as I am not learned in the ways of building my own computer) that you would recommend to me for the sole purpose of running a large number of GBs. As a general rule i can afford $1000 per 5 GBs, so a $2000 computer should be able to run at least 10 GBs for me to consider purchasing

Keep clear of that site, nothing but bad systems for a lot of money. I mean.. paying $1000+ and not getting a stand alone graphics card is absolutely shocking.
