[Competiton] win any of my profiles! Need Ideas for next project

Ello everyone. I need some help thinking of some ideas for what the community would like coded! Either questing, farming (Inc instances etc) gathering etc. The top 3 ideas will get a paid profile of their choosing for free. Best of luck!
 
Well I'm currently looking for a profile that has both current and future applications did not find anything like I needed. It would logon use both alc + inscription cooldown or other profession cooldowns retrieving items from gbank if doesn't have mats. It would be stationed at garrison(Future use) would use the mine/herb/barn/whatnot and would then deposit all mats into a specific guild tab. Once completed it would switch characters and do the exact same thing on all 11 characters on the account. From what I understand profession buddy can tell when a objective is complete so that you dont have to set it on a timer with HBrelog and hope its done or allocate more then the needed time.

Just a thought :)

I have 2 Ideas.

First i think we need a awesome Multiprofile.

He farm stuff,send it to banker,sell on ah etc.

The old multiprofile is not good.


Second:

A tradeskillmaster profile that use the Crafting chain etc (english not soo god,thats why im writing short).

I am currently working on this as we speak from the ground up to level fresh characters through dungeonbuddy, level selected professions 1 - max and use daily cd's across characters. I do not have beta access so I can't begin writing the scripting for that, but as soon as WoD launches I will be working my tail off to get it out to the public!
 
How about a recording profile?
Something that would record what we click on and how we interact with it.
Something with an option to record how far, when, and where we walk.
Something to record and replay rotations.
Something to analyze our play style and optimize it. Play it back without spaces and with good timing.

A DIY profile maker for dummies basically.

It could let you pick between it recording a rotation, playing a rotation, or other profile for its rotation. Almost like a rotation emulator.
It would let us build our own rotations and replay them, build our own paths and replay them, and so on.

No more 60+ bots in a BG running the same path, capping the same flag, and starting the game late, standing there for a minute or more doing nothing.

EDIT: Maybe add the option to sell to vendors based on [item name] or [bag space] since some might have a sorting addon that puts all the junk in bag 3 or 4.
Or maybe a [destroy it] feature to destroy any item with a certain name.
Then provide a list anyone could edit so if they sold or destroyed an item by mistake that they could remove it from the list and never have it happen again.

This would be useful for me since I sell items that are below vendor price on the AH.
Someone could easily turn off the auto-walk and interact with a vendor to have it sell all the junk they just bought for cheap from the AH or got from trash mobs, or earned in a dungeon/quest, but don't want.

This isn't meant as an attack on your idea, but there are guides and many threads explaining how to write profiles to do all of what you are asking. There is not reason to waste time writing a program to write profiles, although there are some programs that do just that already. I do not remember the names but they are out there, try opening a thread asking for their names and youll be surprised how quickly the community will help you out!

BG's are not inherently supported as a full fledged thing that honorbuddy likes to work on. They try to stay away from pvp (arenas mainly) and scripting end game PVE so there is no REAL push back from blizzard to keep them out of the game. However, the logic in BG's is based on largest group and strat associated with its movement. Given many players in BG's are bots they end up training up.
 
Would like some united Go-To profile. You choose points A and B and bot just going there whenever he is to whenever you want. Sounds stupid i know, but i play alot via teamviewer and miss proper GOTO stuff :)

Shouldn't be too hard? what area's were you looking for ?

Going to have to agree here. It's a good idea, but their are plugins and guides to show how to do this already :)

I'd like to do some stuff with TSM, but it's a real C*&T to try and get to work properly with LUA. I can certainly give the farming/Ah'n framework a go though :) good ideas :)
 
How about a profile that uses artifact crates to buy the kind of artifact you want and solves them?
 
embersilk farming profile that uses enchanting/tailoring and will do the shuffle on it's own - while auctioning as well.

Profile that unite all fly points for cata-mop to start with :) i needed go from Dread Wastes to Cata areas few times and there no was to do it. Maybe its too much to do for just profile and needed special bot made, i dunno :)
 
From my own experience + i know a lot of friends who think the same, leveling professions is a pain in the ass.
What would be awesome, is to have a suit for fully automatic leveling of professions.
Fully automatic same as archeology bot, you just specify a wished profession level and the bot does its job.

It would be awesome to be able to select whether the bot should farm all required materials or just buy them on the auction house(fallback: if not available or price too high, farm them).

You can use 'ClickToGo' for that.
 
a dungeonbuddy profile that acts a little more human and dont runs a defined route...

maybe following config could work....

for 5 man groups, raids it should follow the tank if no tank in the group it should follow the one with most life....

in lfr´s if more than one tank it should be possible to set a tank whom to follow....
 
I think a multi profession plugin is in time!, like Brodies plugin were you can choose a faction and get rep, instead you choose a profession and it goes 1-600. There are to few profession profiles out there and some of them are only semi working, like engineering for alliance or Inscription. so far i haven't found any good. If you make a plugin like that i will buy it and i think many moore will do.

I really wish It was as easy as a rep stint. I'd look into doing prof leveling but not until after wod hits. To make a profile such as that. For horde and alliance would take a good month at least and at the moment I don't want to put my effort into that until everything with wod professions is finalised :)
