Combat routine or...?

My Unhallowed Essence DH does 1.4mil sheet DPS, decent gear, decent survivability. However, during combat she seems to just run around and avoid things more than actually doing damage (which would ultimately save her life and maybe complete the actual rift/bounty.) What am I doing wrong? Is this a CR issue?

Same problem here. Nearly full ancient gear and the bot dies very often on X10... It doesn't act like a demon hunter at all, jumps around and is in melee, face tanking most of the time rather than just spam multishot on range
