I just ran into another HB user, and was contemplating whether or not I should say something.

Since the risk of being reported by someone is always high, I decided against it. I do feel a bit bad, though, since my paladin's instacast pulls have been stealing his kills whenever our paths overlap.

What would you do if you see a fellow HB user?

i will ignore him...
you never know who is in front of the screen

if i'm near my comp and i see ppl i'll /wave, or if they try to take my (herb/ore) i'll /question

i had a few ppl follow my druids once i got to human side last night, its like they never saw 5 bears running around together ... they followed me all the way to westfall, i was like "have you never seen a druid before" and he said "not 5 at once" i said "oh, well get used to it =)" he asked me how i got them all to attack at once and i said "i use a keyboard cloner for the 5 accts" and he asked a couple more questions and i said "i'd rather not go into detail, thank you"

and he left me alone... but why would a few ppl randomly just follow me like ZOMGZ GUIZ! Wut dis be?

Don't even mention the words "bot" or "honorbuddy" in-game. That's not to say Blizzard is scanning for the word, but don't give them any fuel, either.

I have several guildies who use Pirox, and the only time we even discuss botting is on Vent. Ignore other botters.

/say Hi, how much gold did you earn last week? i got over 9000!
/hug

And move on

Nah, I would ignore him :)

Here's my general rules when I run into someone botting..
1.Never ever ever ever report someone for botting. Sure they could be competition for whatever, but use the golden rule here ;)
2.If I go somewhere and there's already someone botting, I go bot somewhere else. Seems like alot of places are fairly small areas, and no point in the both of you fighting over mobs and only getting half the kills.
3.Personally I never whisper or say anything to people who I see botting, however on a couple of occassions I've had people whisper me with something like "I see you use HB too? How are you liking it? ;)" or something like that. In the case that Blizzard would for whatever reason check up on me or keep tabs on specific words, I'd prefer people not do that.

I don't like to bot around others. There is one warrior on my server that is always botting where I am because we are both using Bliik's 1-60. I always have to log off when I see him. Although reporting other botters is a sin itself, you would be surprised at the amount of botters who actually do it.

yea thats gotta suck not reporting botters but in turn they report you *have no proof of this though* but im sure it happens. Its like ooo a botter lets get rid of him so i can monopolize the place by myself

anywho /ignore him

Hearth out play your main watch a movie, get a smoke, spend some time with your gf. Log back in and bot again. He should have moved onto the next area by then.

I'd follow 5 bears around in the chance they'd all dance at the same time
