has anyone ever got that? your account is not locked or hacked but it's locked cause they thought you were hacked? could be many reasons why It just locked just doing a char transfer from one of my old accounts to my current main, lucky enough it just said reset your password to get it unlocked...

Due to suspicious activity, the Battle.net account xxxxxxx has been locked. To restore access to this account, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Secure Your Computer

In the event that your computer has been infected with malicious software such as a keylogger or trojan, simply changing your password may not deter future attacks without first ensuring that your computer is free from these programs. Please visit our Account Security website to learn how to secure your computer from unauthorized access.

Step 2: Secure Your E-mail Account

After you have secured your computer, please create a new password for your e-mail account since it may also be compromised. Be sure to check your e-mail filters and rules and look for any e-mail forwarding rules that you did not create. For more information on securing your e-mail account, visit this Support page.

Step 3: Choose a New Password

You must change your password in order to resume using this Battle.net account. Please click this link to choose a new password:

https://eu.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

*Note that your former password no longer grants access to Battle.net account management, World of Warcraft, or any other login-protected Battle.net account service.

If you still have questions or concerns after following the steps above, feel free to contact Customer Support at World of Warcraft Technical Support - Support - Battle.net Support.

Sincerely,
The Battle.net Account Team

probably you or someone else tried to log from a diff ip or something

yes i got it a few days back they want you in the game thats why they do a password reset but hey im back to shooting games again

seems impossible..... but my pc is bran new and cannot have any keyloggers etc.

You know that if there is a 0-day exploit that came out after your PC image was made it can very easily infect you. Brand new computers are no more protected than any other computer. There have been many broadcast type infections in the past that could infect you simply by being connected to the internet.

I'm not saying that's what happened here, but I thought I would point out that your thought process is flawed. As for the comment about someone else logging into your account, it doesn't mean they SUCCESSFULLY logged in, it means they ATTEMPTED to login from another IP that triggered the security lock.

or it could be I transferred my old char to my main account and it had different ips back then.

this email is only used for wow so no idea how someone else can have it.
