• 4 accounts banned
• 1 auction house/crafting account (both by hand, has previously used GB2 on another toon, within the last week)
• 3 gb2 farmers
• 5th account using Questing only, has not been banned, THIS IS ALSO THE ACCOUNT I SOLD GOLD WITH

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account?
GatherBuddy2 on 3 accounts; I had previously used GatherBuddy2 on the 4th account; the 5th account has only run Questing mode and has not been banned.

I was also using Questing on the 3 GatherBuddy2 farmers to run Heroic Dungeons for mount drops (once a day).

Several MoP Mega Profiles, including a custom profile (MoP as well)

I sent a very brief appeal last night for my AH/Crafter account. The appeal was upheld and the reply email was that my account was reopened and working. Upon logging in however, it was Error #203 and a temporary suspension. I'll check again when I get home from work to see if it is clear. I was always under the impression that you were notified if a ban was dropped to a 3 day suspension.

I'll appeal the other accounts later and at different times.

This is an update to what I have done with my accounts that were previously banned on June 16, 2013. All 4 of them were downgraded from a ban, to a 72 hour "Final Warning". I have been botting on all of them since then, with some minor changes. All changes to my original post are edited with RED FONT.

tldr;

• 4 accounts banned -> 4 accounts reopened (their 2nd ban) -> 2 accounts banned
• 1 auction house/crafting account (both by hand, has previously used GB2 on another toon, within the last week) This account has only used DungeonBuddy since being reopened. THIS WAS NOT BANNED! 800+ Auctions per day!
• 3 gb2 farmers 24/7, running at the same time; 1 Outlands, 1 Northrend (BANNED), 1 Pandaria (BANNED)
• 5th account using Questing only, has not been banned (Still not banned), THIS IS ALSO THE ACCOUNT I SOLD GOLD WITH DungeonBuddy from iLvl 430 -> iLvl 490, also uses AutoAngler2 & GrindBot (NO GB2)
• all botting accounts are under my main account
• my main account was botting LFR while the GB2 accounts were banned

Over 800 on my sales account, all materials were funneled from the GB2 accounts. The sales account is currently botting LFR as I type this.

• This is strictly to post information regarding GB2 farming in 3 different zones, with 2 of them having bans, and the 3rd online still farming

Thanks for your detailed report buddy. It just confirms and lines up with the other fellow botters reports - the GB2 accounts trigger autobans short enough, after botting on 7-8 / 24 cycle (Even before they pays out, I guess)

The new point could be the more comfortable botting in Outlands, which wonders me, since its doable for TBC-only accounts.

The good part is, the ahbot and dungeonbuddy are safe enough, at least before they collect several reports, flagging them for review.

Nobody could convince me otherwise that gathering is by far the worst form of botting (outside of Battleground botting). Would I say this is a GB2 problem? I don't think so. I can't give a stronger answer though, as I don't use other bots (specifically gathering bots), so I don't really know. But I would speculate that they are often banned as well for farming too much.

I honestly don't keep up with the game as much as I used to, I couldn't tell you what the maximum flight speed is on a Level 70 right now. If it's only 150%, I can't see that being remotely worth while. 310% is simply too good to pass up. However, I may turn my focus from actual paid accounts and jump into the SoR bandwagon. I speculate that I could make enough gold to make the purchase of a SoR account worthwhile, before it is inevitably banned.

This helped me a lot in the general form! Do you bind all your wow to the same Bnet? Is that smart? Or it doesnt matter?

My B.NET account is tied up with 6 or 7 accounts on it, maxed out. All of them are botting accounts. There are plenty of people that will tell you that it it stupid and will get you banned. I can't tell you, you have to make your own decision. I personally feel that some people are just TOO WORRIED about stupid things. Botting is bad, period. It will get you banned. For me, the risk is fine, I turn a profit, and that is all that matters.

• 3 gb2 farmers 24/7, running at the same time; 1 Outlands (BANNED - swapped over to MoP again, 17 hours split between 2 days), 1 Northrend (BANNED), 1 Pandaria (BANNED)
• 5th account using Questing only, has not been banned (Still not banned), THIS IS ALSO THE ACCOUNT I SOLD GOLD WITH DungeonBuddy from iLvl 430 -> iLvl 490, also uses AutoAngler2 & GrindBot (NO GB2)

• The 3rd farming account that was not previously banned was banned shortly after botting Northrend/MoP/DungeonBuddy (honestly it could have been any one of these, but my gut instinct is that it was from GB2 in MoP)
