close beta

The Release version of EB only works on the current main PoE version.

However, there's a good chance we'll be doing some Beta version tests for Closed Beta in the near future before it's over. That of course depends on the large upcoming client changes though and how that will affect us.

Right now, I'm very pleased with how Beta is going in terms of API updates and the new GUI for EB. :) Bot logic and routine updates, are an entirety different story that will come later.

Hey Pushedx,

Does this mean come 2.0 there's a chance EB could be available fairly early afterwards?

Assuming they don't pull any weird shit out of the hat of course.

I dubt you will get a ETA or a "yes no maybe", but pushedx is telling us the update is in progress, isen't that a already great news?

Patience and no pressure will surely make the bot come out early, so is up to you guys.

Pleased to hear that :)

Basically, we're waiting for the new client with the changes to desync before doing a public test. Beta is ready for testing already as-is, but I don't want to do a test, then have another week of no-beta due to the changes. Since the original release date was Friday but that was pushed back, we're basically waiting for GGG at this stage. The news announcement said the release should be today, so we'll see from there when it'll be possible for a test release of the new Beta.

Plz make it faster in townruns (((

Think we'll make them 50% slower !

Some changes to the tasks and the delays is planned, but remember that the bot doing things as fast as possible for the lengths of times people run it is not an ideal scenario. The biggest priority and most important aspect of the bot is that it works. There will always be room for improvements, but trying to min/max the bot speed at the expense of things no longer working correctly is not going to happen. Of course, users are free to implement their own code that does better though; that is why we have the development model we do.

100% Agreed, I've tried and due to latency or custom code for FASTER events to happen, it will fail and break.
API does a great job of making things Work, and not just work for you but for the other users on other configurations as well.

But can you make option to do it faster if need?

It is not a value that you set higher or lower, to be faster it needs to be done a different way, might aswell spend resources on stuff that actually needs them.
