Hi,

I have a problem with bot. Client runs on normal PC i5+gt750. Without bot very smooth. With ibot ts like "I wonna move like an Jagger..." - veeery stutter. What can be done here to make it smooth?

Thank you in advance.

it's a known issue and even worse when u run PoE + EB on a VM.
actually i try to find out if the internet-connection is also responsible for stutter....
i hope the team can find a solution.

this is true, all the stuttering only happen with bot. Hope it can be fixed soon.

It's not the bot, it's how VM inputs are handled by the VM. The bot works as it is, it was never advertised as working for VM based environments. Low frame rates will give you the same issue.

i guess you don't work with vmware workstation?
any chance to reveal some secret how YOU handle the performance loss?

it's not funny at all when you see your bot within VM stutter from A to B all the time. While your machine is running at (only) 10 or 20% load.

We use VMWW, the stutter is probably because you limit FPS using external programs... Sooooooooo well, got some bots running under VMs and they work 7/7, random times.

am not using VM, no fps limit program yet am experiencing the stuttering.

Actualy why do you involve the vmware? He wasnt refering to it.On main OS without bot poe on max graphics is running extreamly smooth even in 6man parties, when i turn on the bot the stuttering begins,(on w/e graphics i make the game it still stutters). Its not something that bothers me anymore,my bots are farming as good as before even when stuttering.

DBF you are using Sandboxie? And why do you say that its not the bot, when a blind man can see that the program is causing this...(no bot=no stutter)?I'm using VMWW 4 bots cpu load max to 30%

Well, a blind man can see, but he has to prove it first. In your case a video or some form of this "stuttering" would be sufficient proof.

the stutter was significantly reduced after the last EB patch. Now I can watch my bot doing its things with pleasure.

That's good to hear, but I didn't change anything in particular with it.

I think there's some overhead coming from the protection software we are using, so that's one unavoidable factor. The default routine's all-in-one design also adds overhead because it tries to cater towards too much, but there's no avoiding that unless you write a custom routine for your build. The actual bot implementation is approximately the same as before, and it used not to have issues like this, so the effects are coming from the interaction with the new client.

That being said, when I tested an extremely simply bot implementation that just did exploration and combat, and an almost empty routine that only used one skill and had very little logic, and the random spikes were still happening in the client while testing (and without, but not to the same degree). That essentially means the out of process external interaction method we're using is conflicting with the client causing the issues or the core API design is no longer "fast" enough to keep up (which shouldn't really be an issue since using minimal code means minimal memory reads).

That being said, improvements and stuff are still being looked into to see if things can be smoothed out more, but there's no simple "change this and everything is magically fixed" solution possible that doesn't affect everything else.

yep, i can confirm the "stuttering" is still an issue in many maps.

tried a completely different setup: new GPU, no VM, direct connection, no skill bombing and i still see stuttering ONLY when bot is running.

pls tell me that you are joking. And if this is true 1 of those is around 19k usd and you said you have 10 of those idk kinda fishy xD

I don't joke, this for making money, so I would need to be sure I make that much back, if not more.
