Client initialization timeout ! Out fix this please

Several weeks ago i made the first thread about this Client initialization timeout error on my laptop. I was in Spain at that time, and thought it would be something about those internet settings from down there.

Now im home, and i still get this error - only on my laptop. Im running AB on my desktop just fine.


Out, can you help me on this one?

When the ArcheAge splash screens pops, then i get this error.


PS. I dont have any antivirus, and i got the firewall totally disabled. Ive done all Windows Updates, and got frame network, and the other one (thats listed under installation guide)
 
How can i fix that your software block AB inject?

I bought the software, and expect somekind of support.

Just saying you cant help my laptop blocks something isnt much of a help.

Atleast try and do something?

Ive allready written that its working fine on my desktop, so it cant be something "network".

So you got nothing to help me with?

I cant enter to each customer via teamviewer and help.
And you can read forum guides\find same problems and find that this problem related to your antiviruses\firewalls\windows defender. And can be fixed only if you correctly configure them or delete + reboot PC.

STILL GOT THE ERROR.

Tried disabling Windows Firewall. But also just adding updater.exe

Tried disabling Windows Defender, and also adding updater.exe

Deleted and reinstalled both Frame Network 4.5.1 and Visual C++

Is there any ports i can try open?

or other stuff i can try? Maybe reinstall to my original Windows 8.1 ? (even 2 people whispered me after i created this topic, saying they had the same problem - and they had Win 8) ????

You havent problems with ports or network. You have problem in the your OS, somethink block inject.

Okay.. Its just a regular Windows 7. Nothing fancy. Same as i use on my desktop.
 
frag its not even an inject block if you have everything turned off. friewalls and windows defender and your av it is a simple time out your client took too long to load happens to me just keep launching the game takes me as many as 80 times somtimes to beat the timeout but you will always get through eventually.

How ever you cannot try at this moment as the game servers themselves are down.

I don't mean Out is incorrect just that there is another reason for this timeout he refuses to acknowledge. If it was an injection block relaunching my game several times till it takes less then 20 seconds to start the client would not affect an injection blocker.

Okaaaay, that sounds - wierd. Ive tried it atleast 20 times. I dont see how "it can take too long", with a powerfull laptop. Its ALLWAYS at the same moment - when the splash screen comes. The "lines/text" becomes white - its at the last line. ALLWAYS.
 
I have an 8 core cpu with dual ssd total of 1.1gbs data transfer. 16gb of 2133ghz ram not sure how or why archeage is the only game that takes this long to load but it does somtimes
 
I just wanted to let you know that a reinstallation back to Windows 8.1 fixed this issue for me.

Downloaded all new drivers, enabled AB, Glyph, and archeage.exe in both the normal firewall, and Defender. In the UAC settings, i took it all the way down.

I dont know which of this fixed the issue for me. But im now able to run it normally on my laptop aswell.
 
Any more ideas on this? So far I have tried:
- Adding AB, Archeage, Glyph to Kaspersky's exceptions
- Disabling Kaspersky at all.
- Running AB as a different user

Nothing seems to help. Any tips? :(

Edit: Reinstalling Windows is NOT an option.

HOLY. FUCKING. HELL.

There an option in Settings that lets you choose another method of injecting that WORKS (at least for me) :eek:
Why isnt this stated anywhere ? :(
