Cleaning PC

The goal of this post is to clean/check my PC without formatting and the only reason I am posting this is because I am not sure if I caused my last account to be suspended or it was someone else. I just want to make sure.

I'll start with I have not botted in a long time and I purchased an account from a "trusted" guy from a forum I have been active on since 2007. I played that account for 2 months with no issue. I then had (a friend) a friend I knew since vanilla offer to level an alt of mine. I saw no issue here we have had each others account info since he pushed grand marshal in vanilla. I am facebook friends with this guy and I have even had drinks with him when I was in his state before I just dont see him as the cause but it could be. One day after he was on my account the banwave from last month happened and I was included. It could of been the past owner, it could of been him, it could of been me. I want to play again and I am going to just purchase wow on my original account and boost a char to 100 then play. I do not want any question of this happening again. I don't really care that it happened I know the account wasnt "safe/secure" but i just want to not be thinking i could be banned at any time for not doing anything.

C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\*******\log (there was a text log in here from feb2016) now deleted


In D:\Backup
I had actual copies of Honorbuddy saved from an old pc's backup but I have never opened them, now deleted
Wow was always installed on C:\

Am i missing anything even though this last suspension probably wasn't my fault

No you don't miss anything, also you do NOT need to remove any logs or similar. Neither reformat a new IP or whatever.
Wow and it's anti cheat measures are limited and ONLY scan within it's own memory range. You likely only get banned for blatant botting, beeing reported and injection, aswell as overlayering, with is a grey zone and allows till some degrees to scan outside of allocated memory.
HB in general should rather use k0 & some container then it's doing. But w/e..

Back to your post, things like that are just paranoid and timeeating measures which got zero impact on .. anything. ^^
