While i think the idea of these are an oustanding Idea I find it quite annoying that im just going in circles. My toon seems to go from one spot to another almost endlessly.

I will admit I am incredibly new to this so perhaps someone can tell me what in the world I am doing wrong.

I am lvling a warlock using ski's 1-60 profile. I was using Prince of darkness 1-60 horde till the circling just pissed me off.

My toon doesnt seem to be going to any of the quest areas and when he does get to a quest area he just goes from point A to Point B then back to Point A.

If there is more info please don't hesistate to ask. I purchased Honor Buddy becuase Gatherbuddy was such a hit with me. I made 100k in record time farming.
 
make sure the drop down box says either "Questing - Beta" if you're questing, or Grinding if you're using a grinding profile.
 
ok, so does the dropdown box just above the "start botting" button say "Questing - Beta"?

Yes. It says questing - Beta.

And now when I start HB it states Could not find a routine fitting for your class. Please make sure you have a proper combat class routine in your folder, and restart Honorbuddy.
 
not sure what your problem is then.. you're in the right zone? other than that, i dunno.. you should prolly post your logs so a mod can have a look...
 
i just re-read your original post.. sounds like yuo're using a grinding profile.. there are 2 kinds of profiles, grinding and questing.. the thread you got the progile from will say what it is.. you need to set the dropdown box to whatever the profile is...

Thank you for the feedback all.

I was using ski warlocks profile. I also found a "quest Order" horde 1-60. My question now is where do I place the quest order files that I download? And when I load a profile (i.e Ski's profile) when or where do I load the Quest order?

To avoid confusion, you should call SkiWarlock 5.0 a CC not profile since they are different things. CC's control what your character does in combat, and profiles tell the bot where to go, what to kill, what quests and what order to do them in, etc.

You put the SkiWarlock 5.0 CC in the Warlock folder under Custom Classes ( CustomClasses/Warlock).

For the questing/grinding profile, simply put it under the Default Profiles folder.

This is what I was looking for. Thank you very much.

Hopefully I can give this a shot in a few hours after the patch is completed. Last night I was completly irritated at just how much back and forth I my lock was doing. Again thank you all for your feedback.
