Chromatic Sword

This profile will farm the basilisk cave in Northern Stranglethorn Vale. There is a rare, named basilisk there that drops the Chromatic Sword, whichs sells on the AH for transmog for around 100k gold.

can you post a little more info about the profile? horde/ally? mailbox? level of the mobs around? is it clearing all mobs or just this rare?
 
Went there to find no rare, but cave had been all cleared, amazing how many people use/read HB or the forums ^^
 
Re-spawn of the rare: ~5-8 hours.

Drop rate of the sword : 0.4 %

Clears all mobs btw.

Thanks anyway but no use farming this looking at rare respawn...

lol people really paying 90k 100k gold for a shit green weapon lol now im going to find all rares:) just for somethign that glows

timers are wrong 2 now. been there all day on 2nd screen, no one came in. 9.5 hours over last kill now. No rare.
 
since the level turned to 31, it didn't drop any more. Only can the rogue pick pocket to get it.

After looking through things it appears that there is not an item simply called "Chromatic Sword" in the game anymore. However there is a close relative that drops from Chromaggus. Take a look at the loot table for Chromaggus on wowhead and see if that sword with a similar name takes your fancy instead :)

GM in that pic doesnt know what he is talking about. Sword still drops. I couldn't care less if you believe it or not
 
I'm not quite sure what you are showing with that thread, it's from June 2012.

and this is 4 months ago, it does not drop no more.
 
Well no point stirring a thread just for the hell of it, if it drops then gratz to those who persevere but if not then what does it matter.
