choose a gift for my son

give him a gift ,but i do not know what should i buy for him,

Why would u choose a smartphone with android 2.2? there are sPhones with android 2.3 ... choose one of these

you could also give him money so he can pick a phone himself safe bet. and perhaps something else except money aside from that, like tickets to some movie or something.

don't get him a moped, those things are stupid and dangerous. and should be illegal, if you're going to get him a something like a moped get him a 250 road bike, slower and less powerful doesn't mean safer.
And i do agree iphones are safe bets for 15 year olds unless he is a techie and know why they suck
