Playing invasion, what is the best option to chicken?
Have lost a chars to invaders at a like 40 percent, but a couple of times it has shown that i was fine.

Should i be using Chicken to Logout, or to Char Selection?

Thanks for any advice

I've always found "Exit to Login Screen" (uncheck the chicken to character selection in the bot) being way safer and faster than "Exit to character selection", but in the end, it depends on how/when the server processes the packet. There are two different packets used for each, and I think there might be a delay in processing / reconnecting the user when you go back to character selection.

With the 1.1.1c patch, they fixed the "Exit Path of Exile" client feature to correctly logout (only took them like 3 years to fix it) but ALT + F4 works the same way as before.

Some people run much higher chickens, but logging out a lot is a bad idea since it can be tracked down, and is easily associated with bot like activity, so keep that in mind.

I run mine 75%, with my build if im under 75% something has gone wrong :)

Sorry, still a little confused.

What your saying is that it's safer to use logout while playing HC/Invasion - but that option is more likely to be flagged for botting then char selection?

Or do you just mean the % i have it set at, and the amount of times it chickens in general?

He is saying, Logging out is safer for your character (less likely to die) but does increase the possible risk of detection (its bot like behavior)

and having the % set higher is also safer for your character (less likely to die) but also increased the possible risk of detection (also bot like behavior) and your will be logging out ALOT more frequent and possibly at the same HP regularly.

Amount of times it chickens in general. Both methods are easily tracked since they send packets to the server to disconnect, it's just logging out to login screen seems to work a lot better.

Thank you both for the replies.
Appreciate the quick replies camel, good to see members who care about the community.

Same goes for you pushed, you've replied to every one of my questions and have completely restored my faith in exilebuddy.

Lately, i have had problems with it working correctly though.
Been using a LGoH/Leech Build and at times my health will go below the 56% chicken i have set, but at times when im leeching or gaining life (mainly invasion bosses) it won't chicken (maybe due to pots?) and scares the living hell out of me.

Would just like to know why i am doing that, will set my chicken higher if it really bothers me
