Cheaper to buy a wow account?

I was wondering it seems like it would be cheaper to buy an account with a level 80 char than going to the store to buy the keys... I found a level 80 Death Knight with 10 epic items for 59.99 now that seems to good to be true cause for a wow key BC key and LK key it would cost 80 bucks? How can they sell these chars so cheap? Its cheaper than the keys....
 
Because most of these characters have had bans.. and sold a lot of gold.. and exploited.. so if you use it you have a good chance of getting banned loL!

I bought a lvl 71 DK for 50 bones. Which was perfect becuase it was hand leveled to that point, and saved me from leveling those first 60+ levels myself. I think if you want to get into farming fast that buying a toon that is between 60-79 is a good idea. But I would have to agree that an 80 is not your best bet. Only draw back to buying an account is it is hard if not impossible to get it back if it is banned.

It was a success for me thought.
 
Did you find that 59.99 offer on ebay/amazon or an exclusively account/gold website?
 
Not to mention the original owner can always get the account back (and in a lot of cases, will).
 
Anyone know where u can get a cd key set for wow for cheaper than 80 bucks?
 
You can get EU for 46 and US for 76 at offgamers, that's where I get mine from.
 
80 bucks is the lowest price on the web, unless you have connections. I used to have a friend who provided keys for me that worked at Wal-Mart, he made me give me $5 for a full set. I demanded free keys and he reported my IP to blizzard. He has a short fuse.

lol, nice one. too bad Blizz doesn't IP ban...unless it was a one time thing o.O + it's easy to reset your IP address

This is an obvious lie, we have a big fish story on our hands.
oh, and offgamers ftw.
 
You might want to look into this again. Most of the characters like this require that you open another account to have this character transferred to it. This means, you will still have to pay for the keys anyways.
 
80 bucks (62€) for original, bc and wotlk? EU battle chest containing all of those cost like 35€. :D Anyway Swagvault.com should be pretty good for everything.

Wrong. EU and US Battle Chests both contain vanilla and BC, but WotLK is bought elsewhere.
