What is this?
This is a streamed product which is used by "Honorbuddy" the very well known bot for World of Warcraft

What does this product do?
This product will monitor chat channels and send a message to your provider (currently Gmail supported only), basically updating you on what's going on with whispers, say, guild etc.

Why should I buy your product?
This product is free.

How do I use this product?
In the Settings you will find the Chatty plugin, click on the Settings option to bring up the form which asks for username and password (please create a new account for the specific purpose of using this plugin)

What makes your product different from everyone elses?
Simple to use, you don't have to piss about with learning commands etc, it's straight forward and should also work on Smartwatches (not tested but I'm 100% sure it works). Send pictures if you have one

Click Here to go to "Chatty" - BuddyStore Product

The chat channels currently monitored are Whispers, Say, Yell and Guild. A lot more features/functions to come in the future which includes replying to whispers +more, at the moment I'm seeing if anyone would be interested in this plugin.

For security reasons, please create a new Gmail account that you will only use for this plugin

The condition for this to work on any device is for that device to support Gmail or an internet browser which can connect and sync Gmail, since most devices support Gmail or have an internet browser then I've covered most of the internet-based devices.

Was the download link for this removed yesterday?

There was a code review which brought up two issues, one was simply to do with linking to the buddystore product (which is new, I'll do this on all my products if it's allowed). And the other was an issue with Logging and how it logs to the Honorbuddy chat... I thought by default Logging.Write didn't do that as there's a WriteToDebug etc but again this isn't a problem and basically a security issue that I can fix and then resubmit for code review.

Currently in testing stage now, after which should be the release.

If there is enough interest I will be adding a lot more features, fingers crossed.

Great addon

Love where this addon is going! Anyway to keep it from sending all the guild messages? It would be amazing for whispers and says. But it's flooding my email with endless guild conversations.

Thanks for sharing it!!!

I will be making it more dynamic, in the future to even add your own event handler name in case something gets update. I'm going to be using an Interface for this so even new events can be added and would work.

Most of the events following a naming convention so it makes it easier.

Will be adding the option to disable event handlers on the form. Thank you for your feedback.

Submitted 1.0.0.3, Awaiting approved version which includes your suggestion.

New version has been approved. I will be trying to add features/functions by feedback only on this one similar to an agile type project.

In the Username and Password field you would put the Gmail Account Details, this allows the bot to send to itself which then notifies you of what has been said. This is currently the best way to communicate from WoWClient to Gmail which is then hooked up to your phone/tablet etc.

The code is also audited by the buddy team so you don't have to worry about data collection.

Google prevented it from signing on

Hi ******,
Someone just tried to sign in to your Google Account *******[email protected] from an app that doesn't meet modern security standards.

We strongly recommend that you use a secure app, like Gmail, to access your account. All apps made by Google meet these security standards. Using a less secure app, on the other hand, could leave your account vulnerable. Learn more.

Google stopped this sign-in attempt, but you should review your recently used devices:

This is new, I'll look into this.

Update: I was unable to find the reason why it's blocking us although I've used it fine. https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps

I would like to point out the fact that you create a separate Gmail Account from your Main Gmail Account, the code is checked by raphus and maybe others to check the code to ensure that it's not a keylogger etc. The SmtpClient sent does have SSL enabled and uses port 587 which is an SSL-Enabled port.

Below is a picture of the next version confirmed working.
