Character will not attack

Hello im playing a Black mage and when I select a target 90% of the time it doesnt attack, unless i Manually attack once. It seems like it doesnt attack unless my character is facing the target.

Ive checked the setting and i have "Auto face target when using action" selected.

Is there a Link someone cant post to be that tells you what settings you need to have on for FFXIV interface?

It could be that the blm routine is not completed enough to work by itself.

Post a log.

If your using combat assist, that is by design it won't do anything until your in combat.
