Character endlessly mailing nothing..

My character seems to want to stand at a mailbox and mail a blank message to my bank alt, then travel across the room to the vendor and try to sell quest items, then wanders back to the mailbox and once again sends a blank message, I woke up to 2 gold and some odd change after falling asleep to over 200 gold.... I just decided to take off my bank alt but is there a permanent fix I can use?

This happens exactly due to quest items/BoP items.
The bot tryes to mail/sell those but he can't and sometimes get stuck in a loop.
Perhaps adding said items to protected items list will help. Either that or get much much bigger bags ^_^
