Changing region?

Hi,

sorry for my question, but I'm a littlebit confused. Haven't played in a long time.

If I use the HB launcher, how do I change region (switch from US to EU) nowadays? If I want to download the wow US client from Blizzard, it always installs the battle.net desktop client. There I can switch regions. But that doesn't apply if I launch the HB launcher, it always opens the EU WoW with no choice.

And since the download from Blizzard will always open the desktop client, I can't make a second folder with "wow US" and use this path in the HB launcher? How in the world do I change regions now????

don't use the launcher then
just start wow manualy and run HonorBuddy.exe

using notepad open config.wtf in the WTF folder of your wow installation and replace the first lines with

SET locale "enUS"
SET installLocale "enUS"

save changes

then use honorbuddy launcher and select wow.exe (not wow64)
log in with your character in game
then log in honorbuddy

this should work. I had the same problem and it solved it
