Changes to Lifetime keys

I know no one probably cares, but the changes to lifetime keys suck, I understand price increases and plan changes, but what i paid extra money for was a key that never expired. Now i find out my key is only good for 2 years. Feel like i just got lied to since now most of my keys are expired and i have to repurchase everything from someone who just told me the term i bought my key for was a lie. How can i believe in a year you wont change 2 year keys to 1 year?

Preach. The email of bullshit I just got is obviously the result of some frustrated dev saying enough is enough. Not someone who's thought out what they're doing to loyal customers.
