Changes in past 9 months?

I was considering purchasing Exile Buddy around 9 months ago, but decided not to because of competitive reasons. I am interested in getting community feedback at this point, as to whether or not this bot has received enhancements?

The main things I'm trying to do is run one or a couple basic bots in end game territory on hardcore. So I need a bot that is consistent and safe in terms of anti-death. I would likely run a secondary chicken script. Ideally a bit that isn't easily detectable by automatic checks. I have a decent rig, so I'm curious how this bot stacks up against some of the others in terms of memory and cpu demand.

Thanks.

Well, it went from "Few hours afk bot" to "fully afkable bot" after the rework that happened a while ago. usually for a Client + Bot combo count 1GB of ram with settings ground-low.
You should never bot hardcore, why? because a bot isn't "fail-safe" there might be few things that could fuck you up. It's possible yes, with some plugins and chicken but I would not recommend it. (you can do it he)

But if you don't wanna get disappointed, wait for the expansion to hit live, and the bot will go down for few weeks. Usually staff extends licenses for the time the bot is down but well, nothing is sure.

Hardcore is always a risk. I mention in all release threads, botting hardcore is never recommended. Some people do have some good luck with it though, but you have to be accepting of the fact no software is perfect, and there's any number of things that can happen in the game that would cause your bot to die before chicken can kick in. Since there's about to be a massive update for the game and the bot itself in response, I don't think trying to bot unattended hardcore is a good idea. There's a lot of game changes that make botting harder in certain areas that weren't before and other things like that.

In terms of how the bot works in regards to "anti-death", the design we use comes with certain limitations as a result of being able to support multiple bots on the same PC, without taking control of your PC. That is, we have a setup that provides a large API and performs actions the same way a user would, so the bot will press the Escape button and then click on the Logout button to exit the game, and doesn't do anything else to bypass that process (like some tools would). That aspect of the bot/API will never change, so you'd want to do some extensive testing in SC to make sure how tings work is good enough for you. The bot has to work based on the client rendering, so based on the clients performance, the bot will be affected.

Likewise, the default bot/routine implementation we provide is really meant for softcore and face tanking. Users need to come up with better things to fit their needs if that is not good enough for them. That's another aspect that won't be changing either. The API offers a lot more now though, so with a bit of work, you can try to code some logic to avoid things preemptively before getting into a risky situation.
