What's the chance of getting banned with DB, is the chance enough so that accounts will get banned eventually?

Expect a ban as soon as a month, any longer is nice and very possible, any shorter is uncommon but not impossible. :)

What's the chance of getting banned with DB, is the probability substantial enough so that our accounts will get banned eventually after X hours? Any success stories are welcome to get over my paranoia lol

no one can answer this, its theory...

^ That, without doubt. But people love some speculation :) anything regarding bans are and will always be speculation though.

I suppose so and I agree although you can make a case that a rough estimate for the probability of getting banned can be something like 20* total banned accounts from ban reports (assuming ~5% of people report their bans) divided by total of sessions bought since release, which is still a speculation at best but a more accurate one.

But I guess I just want to know if anyone has never received a ban since they first started botting
I had one ban since the release of D3. And I think it was the one that hit almost everyone at the start when Sarkoth was popular. Not a single ban since then, and I'm botting on 4 accounts at the moment.

Edit: I'm not running 24/7 btw.

My oldest Bot runs since I registred here. Still running and selling (12 hours per day, Donator Champ Hunt A3, MP3, EU). But well I always buy some stuff over the AH instead of only selling, also have a really really exp. Equipment. Other bots running for 2-3 Months now, no Ban so far.

I've been running 6 bots for roughly 1 month, one of them longer (1400h of playtime). I have so far made a profit of roughly 1k?, which is very nice considering the low amount of work I have put into this. I spent like 6*65? on lvl 60 barbs and 120? on 6 sessions for a total of ~510?. I'm averaging something like 150m/day at the moment plus the occasional RMAH item.

My point with this being that even if you buy all your accounts and sessions and put as little work possible into it, you will make a profit in no time at all. The ban WILL come though, so keep your main account out of it unless you are willing to risk that account as well.

Iv heard that wearing tinfoil hat reduces chance of ban by 20 to 35%

Chance of getting banned is calculated using the following formula:

images

Where:

v(B)peak is the length of your ear.
t peak is how far you sit from your computer screen.
all other letters you replace with their respective alphanumeric value (a=1,b=2 etc).

Normalize your answer and you'll have the chance of being banned.

OT: It's random. Either accept you'll eventually be banned or don't bot, simple enough!

Your equation is incorrect, as it fails to account for both moon cycles and the menstration cycle of your best friend's girlfriend's mother's cousin's aunt's uncle best friend's sister-in-law.

Oh my days, I can't believe I was so stupid!

So factoring in the above, plus my aforementioned variables we have the correct equation.

Whenever you bot, ask yourself, WWJD? It'll help a lot to reduce chance of getting banned.

so when u get banned at 1 account u get 4 more and playing with same ip with no problem?

I heard pointing your Bud Light toward the bot screens reduces chances also.

If it works in a commercial it has to work in this scenario too. lol

One thing that would be nice would be if you release how many unique Buddyauth users there is, so we can determine roughly how many got banned in the last wave. Right now it does say that much if there is 50 ban reports in a week since we have no idea how many use DB. And only release this information to people that have already bought DB sessions. Nn for those battle.net whiners to come here and find out the statistics.

Not everyone would have made a ban report topic, so releasing the total number of users would be a meaningless number without the other half of the information.

BuddyAuth can't check bans either since sessions aren't bound to in-game accounts.

im currently paragon 99, been botting since lvl 60, ww barb, started botting back around november 2-3 (i got hit hard back when the July ban wave happened).
im gonna hit 100 tonight, and im about to stop botting for a while (probably untill the next big ban wave) or I might bot 3-4 hours a day not sure yet.

So...to make a short story, botted almost 24/7 for the past 4 weeks, 0 ban yet.
