Always wondered how people dealed with these? I see VPN's being used but these only lock accounts when you have a high number (15-20+) and it becomes a pain, I just stopped when they asked for real life ID for them, way too much hassle and downtime.

When I used to run my bot farm consisting of over 20+ bots they all did get hit once in one go, how do people cope or workaround this so it doesn't happen? That's the only extreme danger in botting so many accounts, they can link them all up in one go and, well.. It's game over baby, especially with gold going ever so lower.

#1 - Spoof your IP to different locations.
#2 - Spoof MACID
#3 - Use different account profiles (x account runs every day after 3pm until 6-7pm, etc)
#4 - Don't use static IP's (even they get over the spoof, they will get linked)
#5 - Spoof the OS.
#6 - gold is going low if you sell to the Chinese. I have private buyers in some servers going for $1.10, some other I get $0.80 when Chinese would give me $0.20

Yea since they fired their bot hunting team (in term of code hunters), they started banning by several association. It's simply *You must be clever then blizzard*.

Wouldn't spoofing IP's just get them locked though? Seems a hassle to me to unlock every account after spoofing each time, similar to a vpn.

Not if you change ip in the same country and to change country wait some days with all your accounts off.

So say, If I got UK VPN (I'm from the UK) My accounts wouldn't get locked?
