If you're wanting to go ahead and download cata before it comes out... you can buy the digital copy online for 39.99 from the blizzard store... but if you simply want to download the game (and get your key any other way)... in your config.wtf file, change:

SET accounttype "LK"
to
SET accounttype "CT"

and it should simply start downloading the content (if you open Launcher). its ~750-800 mb of data.

4.0.3 is supposed to drop a week or two before Cataclysm and is supposed be mostly class updates and changes to prepare for The Shattering. 4.0.3a is supposed to drop right before Cataclysm and will include The Shattering and all the new stuff.

4.0.2 or 4.0.3 will come 1 week before cataclysm is released. 4.0.3 will shatter the world as it is.
