Hello there,

I was wondering if it's a bad idea to do some botting on my main account and what are the chances of getting banned.
Is there any kind of article on the forums with tips what I should do to minimize the chances of ban? Or should I just not bother with it and keep playing the game manually?

If you cannot loose your account, don't bot on it.
It can happen anytime for anything as soon as you start the bot.
We try to make botting as safe as possible but Blizzard can always change their ways to detect botters or other players can report you and then your account is gone.
Keep that in mind all the time.

As BotOperator said, if you do not want to lose the account do not bot on it.

I learned this the hard way, when I lost my 10 year old account in last year's major banwave. If you would like to bot, do it on an account you're willing to lose.

I'm gonna borrow your thread and ask one question regarding this topic. If I bot on my alt account is it still safe to transfer gold through guild bank or how should I protect my main? Been out of the botting game for years
