Cards being ignored

When going second, I receive a message that The Coin must be ignored.
Another card that was doing this was Dire Wolf Alpha.

Thoughts on this?

Coin will only be played if there's a card that has high (maybe ultra?) priority, and, you're one mana off it.
Dire Wolf Alpha will only be played if you have two minions on the board already.
