Can't select profile to load

I haven't used DB in a while but the last time I did I had no issues. From my memory when i hit load it should allow me to search for a profile I want to use. When I hit load I get a spinning ring of death and nothing happens, the second I move my mouse the ring goes away and it it is like i never hit load.

I will also add that I have tried useing the installer and just the zip file, same result both times. Fresh install hit load and i get a circle of death that goes away with movement of the mouse.

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from https://www.thebuddyforum.com/BuddyWizard.exe
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
