cant open honorbuddy from icon tray?...

this is really bothering because when i minimize honorbuddy it goes in the little icon tray but when i want to open it. it doesnt open..... i tried deleting my settings folder but that did not work. i just really do need help any tips will be appreciated.

by icon tray i mean the little icons by the clock and internet connection, etc
 
double click it, it should expand the window, (chances are its doing this offscreen) then try moving the window, like in the thread i linked you.
 
i am double clicking it. nothing pops up. when i scroll over it. says honorbuddy - "characters name"
 
try restarting your pc, and making a new install of honorbuddy.
 
in that case make a new Hb installation from scratch
 
Same problem here. Strange. It happened after a fresh win7 install. Tried all the usual stuff, new install etc. The icon is just stuck. You can right click and have the usual options but any kind of left click will not bring the window back. The only think I can think is different about this install is I have .Net framework 4.5 instead of 4 installed...Help!

No go. Like stated above, the right clicking works just fine. The left click does nothing, in any form. I have reinstalled a fresh copy of HB twice, I have tried reinstalling .net framework 4. I have tried deleting all settings files. The only way I can get the program back up once it is minimized to the systray is to set the window as "Normal" instead of "Minimized" in the config file for the toon. But, once I minimize it, same problem. This has never happened before in the months of use. What is going on here?

Settings folder deleted. Tried again, same thing. The one thing I've noticed is that if I open another instance of honorbuddy and it doesn't attach to wow (because the first one already has), that unattached HB can be minimized to the tray and restored just fine. So it seems whatever is happening is after it's attached. Ugh, this is driving me crazy!
 
Spoke too soon. Simply running HB without wow running has the same problem. it wil report not finding a valid wow etc. etc. and if I minimize this program to the tray..there it stays. I can only right click start stop exit :(
 
make a new installation from scratch
 
A new installation of Honorbuddy? I've done that twice now.
