Are you running the x86 (32 bit is the only version Honorbuddy supports) version of WoW? That error message is usually only going to show when you're attempting to attach to a 64 bit version of WoW - also to be sure you're inside the game on a character and everything before launching and attempting to attach Honorbuddy.

To check if you're running the 32 bit client, open wow to the login screen and in the bottom left corner see what (Release x'X') is set as. If it's x64 and not x86, go into your battle.net client > go to the options dropdown > Game settings > tick the 'Launch 32-bit client (Instead of 64-bit) > Click done. Now you can close all instances of wow and launch the game using the battle.net client.

The wow version number in the login menu should look like this with it saying (Release x86):

Didn't work. It was already running on x86. Then I tried ticking "Launch 32-bit client", but still not working. same error =/
