Can't find that rare item? TIP

Prior to the release of RoS I mainly ran Ghom at t6/i10. Not for the items but the exp/gold PH.

Once RoS hit I only did key runs/rift runs/ bounty runs. Thats it.

I never really thought much about it. But prior to the last 5 days I have been searching for Mr. yans pants, and witching hour. I spent hundreds of hours after RoS hit looking specifically for these 2 items. From paragon level ~180 - 6xx.

I was becoming very frustrated. then i found this list. I noticed that I was only getting 1 - 2 of the items with a drop rate less then 3% a week. My LPH was ~4.

When I finally found a good mara's ammy I decided to try Ghom again. On torment 6 with my barb I can kill him ~10-15 sec. About 56 games an hour.

After starting on the Ghom profile again my LPH dropped to 3.5 - 3.75 (from ~4). But what I noticed is I started getting 2 - 6 of the super rare legendaries per day. (The legendaries with a drop rate of less then 3%) Which is a lot better then 1-2 a week.

If you are having trouble finding a certain rare item, I strongly suggest you try this.

BUT ONLY ON A FULL MOON AND YOU HAVE TO TURN IN CIRCLES 6 TIMES BEFORE LOGGING IN EVERY TIME.
