Can't even level to level 20.

Recently i got hit by a ban 5/5 down. I decided to restart as usual 5 new ones.

Except this time i can't even level to 20 before i got a Abuse of Economy ban. The accounts are still Trails and not even paid yet.
I got a batch of 5 hit as early as level 13-14 which is like 2-4 hours of play. I tried numerous times now and every time is the same story.

Of course the though that my PC is flagged crossed my mind. So i think i took all the necessary steps to look like a new PC.
1. New WoW installation.
2. Windows Pre-install.(heck even did full format)
3. Ram swap so i have new HWID.
4. Changed IP.

What else is there to get myself flagged? There is obviously something i can't be put down so fast just by player reports or bad luck.

P.S. This is mostly happening with Horde so far i am trying Alliance as i write this.
 
Banned while still on Trial? WoW sounds like you're on the spot of some clever and enthusiast GM, this isn't about player reports

-Don't use the same class setup than before (tank/healer/3xdps)
-Don't RAF
-Don't create your 5 accs at the same time (ex. create 1 now and start leveling, 2 more in 3 hours, 2 more tomorrow)
-Play random

They're detecting you really early and they're being nice for not waiting for you to paid the battlechest to ban you.
 
maybe just back luck but as GranPapi said be happy that you didnt paid yet, could hit you 1hour later with 5battlechest already bought
also i can just recommend the hints by GranPapi in some way


-Don't use the same class setup than before (tank/healer/3xdps) well do it, what else shall you do :P you cant go 5heals(my opinion)
-Don't RAF - same goes for this, never had problems with RAF
-Don't create your 5 accs at the same time (ex. create 1 now and start leveling, 2 more in 3 hours, 2 more tomorrow) - this is something i would recommend to, just do 1by1 as they arent paid its np when the first just wait for the others
-Play random - dont rly know what it means but do it! ;)

Okey, the 5 accounts that were on alliance side hit the bucket too. Pre level 20 might i add. Also i forgot to mention that the accounts are offline while being banned.

I will try the advice with having them start at different time. Still worried what would happen when they are all online at a point to level them in a dungeon. So far i am happy that they are trials.
 
No offense, but when it gets to that level they are clearly sending you a message. I'd cut my losses for now. Try doing something less lucrative that only uses 1 account and see if it survives for a few days...

Otherwise... buy a new PC, Change your ISP, and move to a different address. Oh and maybe change your name while you are at it.
 
Not really any losses as they are all trails, just time and electricity lost. But you gave a idea i do have a old laptop that might be able to run could not run 5 bots, but i may be able to course him in persuasion with some optimization trick i have gathered and learned since i last used him.

Still the whole point was to not abandon a perfectly fine PC and to figure a way to un-flag myself. I did recently change location(went to college new semester) so that takes care of ISP and IP. And who uses their real name, the only thing is my computer and i have no idea what they are targeting.
 
Maybe blizz added a flag because they KNOW that botter's are taking advantage of the level 20 before paying.

Could there be a flag that once 5x new accounts on trial linked reach Level 10/15 within being logged in for X time, makes a flag be thrown and sent to a GM for investigation, therefore resulting in your trial bans WHILE OFFLINE

Try leveling them all to 10, then next day 15/20 and see if that helps!

Also, are they russian keys?

Are you putting them in a guild? And if so it's not the same on as the ones that got banned right?

That's the only thing I can think of that hasn't been hit yet.
 
Okey guys status report. It seems i was able to save my arse from the bans.
As h4xxor said i changed the HWID of the HDD(Partion ID) and changed mac.
I also did a C: drive format(system partion with all programs and the such).
New WoW install of course.
Shuffled the Ram Modules.
And changed the whole HWID string in the Registry.

Don't know how much of it was 100% needed but it did the trick.

Good job - I am happy you are clean again.

But remember, Blizzard are not allowed to obey on personal information, so the stroked lines above were eXtra, but anyway!

Just make sure to never log from any of the old accounts from this system now.
 
HWID of the HDD(Partion ID) - how did you do that? Hardware ID is same as Volume Serial Number?

You would do good to not be 100% sure blizzard is acting according to the law here. they can do far more than that, and nobody would ever dare to sue them. Even actually realising they were doing so aint that easy.

No matter what some people here say, they wouldn't willingly start a several-thousand dollars costing legal process against a company this big.

Even if they did, outcome would likely be pretty harsh for them.


To kykha, yep they are the same. There are many more Hardware Id's in the sense that anything able to identify a running PC can be a HWID, and there are hundreds of things that could be used to. But, in the common sense, volume ID is the most common Hardware ID both terms are usually used with no distinction.

$$$ = Power, not stupidity. Trust me they won't do that, if they managed to, bankrupt is upon them.

And for the cost of a legal action, 1€ x Actual subscribers count = a lot.
 
i had this issue befor aswel when ever i did something with automate questing i got banned but suddently it stopped D because i didnt put any more money into buying accounts now its just working fine once i have my new 11 classes main account to play i wil get another 5 accounts for making gold while farming dungeons just the mop versions not wod

I don't understand your post, friend.

No one is sueing them. No one here likely has the financial power to endure that sort of legal fighting.

Talking about blizzard going bankrupt because they went too far in their bot scanning methods probably violating customer privacy? It's laughable. If they haven't managed to go bankrupt creating the shit that wow 2 last expansions or D3 are, without going into the OverwatchLOL thing, they simply can't.

If you are talking about a fundraiser of sorts with the honorbuddy "subscribers" to support a legal process....quite clearly you are being overoptimistic here. Considering 10000 active users (users, not accounts), when confronted with this, how many of them would even consider it? As you seems to be really optimistic, let's set it to 50% . That's a whole 5000 dollars, which would cover for ..... 1 / 10th of the initial legal expenses. Not taking into account that a firm of lawyers wouldn't put themselves in a situation against a multinational company with the best lawyers in the business.

I'm all in for defending our rights, but when money gets in the way, reality checks in.

I don't know how blizzard is detecting me but it is getting annoying in last 2 days I've lost 10 accounts because of auto Abuse of Economy bans.
I realized that I'm flagged few days ago so I started looking for solutions. Now I run WoW in Virtual Machine with changed HWID and MAC Address.
Anyone have any ideas what more can I do to get my self unflagged?
I've started few accounts yesterday and they were banned like 1 hour ago at level 76 doing dungeons.
