Can't attach honor buddy to WoW

I am running windows 7 and I right click honorbuddy.exe and go to run as administrator type in my key and my username leaving the password field bland and this is what i get:

Logging in...

You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #14545
You are currently on build #0

Now I know for a fact my WoW is up-to-date and is on patch #4.2.2.14545 and according to the updater for HB, HB is up-to-date as well... Yes, I have given all of my anti virus and firewalls permition for HB to bybass them.

Now, problem & fix please, so I can get honor buddy working.......

you must have wow opened and be in game with a character for it to attach. if it isnt you will get that error

Yea ok i launched honor buddy with my character logged in, and it injected properly i think. Now when I try to log in i get this:

"Logging in...

Max Sessions
Authentication failed!"

Which doesn't make sense becuase I paid lifetime for this... I checked Authbuddy.com and nothing there about my sessions.
So wanna tell me what's going on please!?

make sure that a "ghost" Hb process is not running on your system,check it on task manager

if that ever happens go to Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal
Log in and go to the tab that says "sessions"
under there you will see a session with a place to put a checkmark in a box.
checkmark it and click, "kill session"
bam, your golden.

This works for me every time i get booted off Wow from a crash. If that is not working for you then something is wrong.

I had a similar problem. HB worked on one computer but not another. I checked all the settings between the two and then ran across the directx settings. HB needs WoW to be set in DX9 in the video settings. Mine was set to DX11. It worked afterwards switching to DX9.
