Cannot open DB & folder is lagging

Hello,

I'm having some trouble opening Demonbuddy.

I've tried both using the installer & zip file, same issue.

So whats happening is: I doubleclick the .exe file > Folder is lagging and not responding > It finally asks me if i want to run the program > nothing happens.

The whole demonbuddy folder is not responding, after a couple of mins, windows will close the whole explorer and restart it.

I obviously cant attach any logs as DB will never open.

I've tried restarting, re-installing DB from installer & zip, and re-installing .NET 4.6.1 and Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 Update 1 x86

Help!
 
any antivirus enabled?

Only using the built-in, in Windows 10.

After many tries, I've managed to open & run the bot. Takes me a while each time though.

If I try to right click the .exe shit goes down, and I have to force-quit explorer.
 
try to set an exception for the antivirus
 
probably cause of an update of the antivirus definitions or something
 
I have Malwarebyte. It still doesn't seem to work when I added the entire demonbuddy folder and individual files to the exceptions.
 
I was experiencing the same problem as the OP.. I added the exclusion and presto chango, it worked!
