Cannot get some abilities to work

I have a ranger going and want him to use a summon skeleton totem to absorb hits but he wont use the totem even with it on the hotbar.

Also Quicksilver flasks and other specialty flasks are not working either.

Also, I need actual information. Simply saying "it doesn't work" doesn't help anybody.

What routine were you using?
What version of the bot?
Where were you botting?
